Our 2nd LG dryer

This is our 2nd LG Dryer. The first lasted about 13 years before dying. The newest one is different but still a great product however we are having issues with the flow sense option. It keeps going off. We are still trying things to get it from going off every use but so far nothing seems to work. This was a problem with our old one at the end of its life.

I purchased this washer at the beginning it was all working good but is has a design issue with the washing area tube. It makes a horrible noise when spinning cycle. I call warranty and they fix it and after 5 cycles the washer started making the noise again. Ugh.

Started Great Not So Much Any More.

When we originally purchased our washer/dryer set the washer was perfect. We liked the various features it offered. That was 3 years ago. Now when the machine is in a spin cycle it sounds like a jet engine. It is so loud we have to yell over it. Since the machine was out of warranty period we were thankful we purchased the Lowes extended warranty. The LG tech came out and after 2 minutes said that it was rod in back of the drum that was broken and ordered a new part. That was 2 weeks ago. We still dont know when it will get fixed. Since there is another rod behind that is still working we can still use the machine. Hopefully that does not break also or we will end up having to buy a new machine. Aside from that issue there is water leaking under the machine and leaking down the front of the machine from the detergent tray. I am no longer as impressed with it. I suppose washing machines are not made to last beyond the manufactures warranty.

Im thrilled with my LG washer It cleans effortlessly and the app makes the whole process even easier by allowing me to monitor and control the wash cycles from anywhere. The variety of settings means I can customize each load based on fabric type and soil level ensuring the best results every time. I havent tried the steam option yet but Im looking forward to using it soon especially for refreshing and sanitizing clothes. One of the features I love most is how my washer and dryer communicate with each other. The settings from the washer automatically carry over to the dryer so all I have to do is hit the play button. This smart feature saves time and ensures that my laundry is always perfectly coordinated. My clothes come out incredibly clean fresh and soft even without fabric softener. I also appreciate that Im using less detergent which is not only cost-effective but also better for the environment. The technician whom came by didnt follow up right away or at all. He was here less then 45 min ran 4 tests. And still the IE code appeared. Dont bother to service water inlet filters which hot water side had sediment build up took 15 to clean out myself. Code still appearing and been on hold now for 34 plus minutes with snap shotslol

Started having u5 code after a few years of light use. It is just me and I do a load of laundry maybe every other week. So I would estimate that I have less than 100 loads done on this Washer. Never buy LG Laudry Prosucs again

We purchased the washer and the dryer after we get our new house and a couple months after the Dryer start button is not working properly called the LG customer service to see if they can send someone to take a look at it and they keep telling us on the phone to unplug it and reset it but our problem wasnt about not working its about the start button so my husband have to give them a piece of bad words and they finally came and of the course the technicians told my husband that it got nothing to do with unplug n plug back in. Well Duh He told us that something loose on the start button so its great that he fixed it and nice. 2 months after that every time we dry our clothes it makes so much noise even though we dont put thats much in it and customer service is a pain in the butt even now its not fixed Now my washer machine is not working at all Overall I will never buy another LG.. And now my washer machine stop working completely

Worst Customer Experience

We purchased this washer and matching dryer in late March. Three months later the washer drum was overfilling and flooded our laundry room. No worries though we are under warranty right? Not so fast 3 weeks have gone by after I submitted a repair request and Ive received no response from the technician nor responses from LG Presidential Liaison team about next steps to get this corrected as I was promised. The units themselves are attractive but dont expect anything if there is an issue. Ive now traded in the units for more a more reliable brand.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

If I could give 0 starts I would. Absolute worst customer service that you could imagine. I ordered my machine on June 10th. It is now June 26 and not only have I not received it but they dont know where it is cant track it and the delivery partner still hasnt received it. Instead of just sending me a new one LG has e-mailed their shipping partner to get a delivery receipt despite the local delivery partner saying they have not received it over and over which I will add could take up to 72 hours for a response. If at 72 hours the response is they still dont know where it is that will mean more waiting. I have been doing laundry at friends and neighbors what an awful experience and LG has told me the best compensation they will offer me for my troubles is $100 refund. I will NEVER EVER buy direct from LG again. I can only imagine what its going to be like to access my warranty benefits.

I bought this in February and it was delivered in the beginning of March. When first used there was a mold smell and LG as well as Home Depot was giving me a hard replacing it. Home Depot is picking up the machine to give me a full refund on the money I spent and I had to buy another washer. I am now waiting for delivery of new washer and the pickup of the old one. Not happy with the service I received from either Home Depot or LG. I will not recommend either company.

The Worst Customer Service Ever

We havent received the machine yet. We had signed up for a delivery date of 4/8. Text message confirmed 4/8 For no reason I then received a message the washer would be delivered 4/1. I called to confirm 4/8. Everything seemed ok. They told me I would be contacted the day before to narrow down the 9a-5p window. They never did. I called the day of delivery twice to LG. The first guy I was connected to after 15 minutes of pressing 1s and 2s and 3s with the robot phone answering machine was so incompetent he said the order was backordered. I went on the site and said I can buy one right now and it says in stock. I said transfer me to someone else. He transferred me incorrectly and I had to start over. They said everything was on track but they could not get in touch with the delivery people. They said sometimes we can sometimes we cannot. They gave me two numbers to text - no one ever responded. I waited until 10p with zero explanation. Working today to see what is happening. And will update this review. Zero care for my time.

I bought my new washer 7 weeks ago and it doesnt work Home Depot and LG have managed to do almost nothing about it so far after over 100 phone calls and 10 emails. LG said it is unrepairable and needs to be replaced or refunded under the warranty but it hasnt happened yet. Going to call a Consumer lawyer next.

Great product wont be disappointed BUT if you need product assistance that is another story with LG During the course of ownership the paint on the upper left hand corner below where the detergent draw meets experienced delamination .When I contacted LG customer service and explained the issue after confirming my serial # date of purchase 1 year etc I was told this has happened to others and there is a paint kit that can provided that the kit would be ordered and I should receive it within 14 days. I waited 30 days no paint kit when I called again the representative looked up my case # and apologized that I had not received it and would expedite this matter and I should receive the kit in 7-10 days. 30 days latter still no kit when asked why was told its on back order when I asked Is there anticipated arrival date I was transferred to a supervisor who informed me This item is no longer available sorry about your bad luck try Amazon NOT IMPRESSED WITH LG CUSTOMER SERVICE

Great product but poor customer service Have had the washer for a year and it has performed as expected And would purchase it again HOWEVER when it comes to parts and customer service BEWARE I have delamination of the paint next to the detergent door and contacted LG for touch up paint was told it would be ordered and sent out within 14 days . After 30 days I call back to follow up to be told sorry you dont have it we will expedite this matter and you should have it with 10 days. Again after 30 days I call again only to be told it is now out of stock and on back order When I pressed to talk to a supervisor I was told by the supervisor Sorry about your bad luck LG no longer stocks that color try Amazon. Not impressed with LG customer service

Overall Our experience with the LG Dryer is FAIR. The reason being the clothing doe not come out dry. An additional 2-4 need to be run to experience what our former dryer did in one cycle. I addition the dryer vent has to continually be cleaned requiring a call to a special service company which was costly. Reading customer reviews prior to our purchase is what convinced us to purchase in the first place. Very disappointed and dissatisfied in our purchase. Having other LG devices this will be our last purchase of anything LG

Defective Washer - Excellent customer Service

Our particular unit had a defective sensor in that it wouldnt spin the water out of the clothes. I posted a comment onto the LG Facebook page and was immediately contacted by a LG Presidential Liason team member - The one that was assigned to work with me on the issue collected my info and they gave me an online credit to purchase a different washer within a week - That said while that unit was defective LG stood behind their product and handled the issue quickly and professionally. We now have a larger washer and it works great Thank you to LG for excellent customer service I will definitely be a return customer

Defective Unit but OUTSANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE

We purchased this washer with high hopes - it was out first front load washer - within the first few months we had to have a service tech out to service the washer 3-4 times due to error codes. It seemed to have numerous issues all with sensors it seemed - then it just wouldnt spin the water out of the load of laundry so it would run and then stop right after everything was soaking wet - which is extremely inconvenient. Just barely a year in use and we dreaded doing laundry. I reached out to LG via phone with no acceptable solutions offered BUT then I tried reaching out via social media and was assisted right away - They had a Presidential Liaisons team member contact us right away and after getting them the requested info - proof of purchase - serial # - model # - they gave an online LG store credit. That said even though we were very upset with this particular washer LG made good and stood behind their commitment to their customers satisfaction Product was poor but LG was exception - That said I recommend LG to anyone looking to make a purchase for their home appliances. Thank you LG for being whats becoming rare these days - a quality company that stands behind their product and does the right thing Sincerely Thomas G.

I specifically purchased an LG machine because they had a great reputation. However this washer has proven thats not the case. The product is barely 2.5 years old and has a vibration sensor issue that keeps it from completing a cycle. The cost of repair is nearly half the price of a new machine which is infuriating. LG has been no help at all. Up until this issue I was so happy with this machine but its clear that this company does not care to make quality products that can last over time. Or to even stand by their customers when the products have an issue.
