Awful Customer Service

No Fridge in SC 8/29/2025

Have not received the product as of yet due to terrible communication and systems in place with LG. Was supposed to be delivered on the 26th. Wait around all day for it to arrive after receiving multiple messages it was on its way. By 5pm still no fridge. Called and spent a half hour on the phone to be told it wont be delivered since its damaged. Ok things happen. It is now the 29th and I had to call back and spend another 45 min on the phone to reschedule since they had not already done this. They now say it will take 10-14 business days to arrive since they need to receive the damaged unit back to send out a new one. If I ordered a new one online today it says it would be here Sept 4th. Worst customer service ever and will not be doing business with LG in the future.

Bad refrigerator.LG is not helping to replace it

I bought this refrigerator and it was delivered on July 19th it worked until July 21st when I noticed that the food in the freezer was melting and the refrigerator was warm. I followed the reset instructions in the owners manual and from LGs website which did not solve the issue. I contacted Lowes the following day trying to exchange it for a working model but they stated it was past the 48 hours I would need to contact LG. I contacted LG who only made a note of the issue then sent a repair request to a repair company. They scheduled an appointment for July 25 but the repair company cancelled it then rescheduled it for July 29th. On July 28th I received a call to cancel my upcoming appointment because they didnt have the parts to repair it how would they know what parts were needed without coming out to diagnose the problem My appointment was moved to August 1 where a repairman came out and said it needed a new compressor and condenser on August 8th the repairs were made but the unit never got cold plus there was a rattling noise coming from the area where the compressor is located. I would like a refund or at least a replacement for Im going on 3 weeks without refrigeration. By the way I dont use Facebook or twitter or any social media sites give me a way to have a conservation to resolve my issue

We got thIS Frig as a replacement for the basement/ garage one that failed. I look forward to many years of holidays and family events that the extra room of this Frig provides. One question was I know that the 20 inch does not have the Light and the 30 inch does. Would LG be open to making a light only fit where the ice maker would be? You already have the hub and all you would need is the light adapted to the connection. I would buy it.

LG will not refund or replace our refrigerator

I would not give any stars although I had to give at least one to write this review. Had this refrigerator for only 6 months and then it wouldnt stay under 45-50 degrees. Our fridge is still under the 1year manufactory warranty. It has been over 4 months of not being able to use it. After 9 technician appointments since September we have had the fan/grill assembly replaced a new control box installed 3 compressors and a new control board installed. The contracted repair company LG had come out said they have replaced everything they could and it is not repairable. LG will still not give me a refund or replacement. It has not worked for 4 months and now LG wants to send another repair company to come and look at it rather then replace or refund. Im sure they have already spent more money on technician visits and repair attempts than what my refrigerator cost. Do not buy from LG

Delivery service RXO poor. Product delivered 10/14 11 days later then expected. Delivery people claimed they couldnt reverse the doors. Dispatcher said they would schedule this service. Service was never scheduled. I reversed the doors my self. Poor customer service.

Dont ya love it when you feel you got a bit more than what you paid for? LG fridge. I wasnt expecting it to be so quiet. Feels solid and works really well. A couple of friendly cat-eating Mexicans delivered it. Introduced me to state-of-the-art lift and tote an adjustable harness between them holds the machine up and down stairs. The hand truck stays on the ground. Me happy warm and fuzzy.

Spent my entire day on a chat

I was in need of a part that did not come with my ice maker and it was a several hour chat mostly waiting on the customer service rep. I understand they take multiple calls at a time but after over an hour in the chat with them they finally understood what part I needed I dont think there is much training involved and having someone from another country trying to communicate with me was frustrating.

Unfortunately I have to give this review a very poor rating. The reason is as follows: I purchased this on Aug. 12 2024. It was delivered a week later August 19th. All initial operational instructions were followed. The refrigator never worked from day one. I placed a call into LG customer service that they put a call into an appliance repair shop. They told me it was the compressor which would have to be ordered. From my understanding it was ordered and currently awaiting an appointment date for their technician. In the mean time I am currently storing my food and medications in my neighbors refgrigator. I am hoping to win this $500.00 to repay my neighbor for their inconveince.

LG stole $700 and never delivered refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator with delivery for my elderly mother and was really excited for her to get a brand new refrigerator. However the refrigerator was lost in transit by LG and LG refuses to ship a new refrigerator offer any sort of refund or help in any way with the issue. I have been contacting LG customer support for a week and just get sent in endless circles with no resolution. In short I have spent $700 for absolutely nothing.

I bought the fridge 2 years ago. It is already broken. Its not cooling. All the food melted in the freezer and the fridge. It has been hell trying to get LG to repair this fridge. It has been over 3 weeks and they finally said they dont have any LG techs so they sent it to a 3rd party vendor. They cant go until next week so it will be over 4 weeks with no refrigerator This is the worst experience I have ever had to deal with.

If I could I would give a -10 rating I didnt get my refrigerator delivered but did get my dishwasher so now I am without a refriger because it was suppose to be delivered with the dishwasher. I dont think I will ever order from LG ever again. Im not happy with not getting my refrigerator and who knows when I will get it and its been 2 months already. I bought this a month ago and it hasnt worked for one moment. Ive been told by tech support over 4-5 times that they will send a tech and then they proceed to never contact me. LG has made my first new fridge experience a nightmare. I cannot believe a company would lack so much empathy for someone that paid them $700 and they could care less that we lost all our food and now are living out of our neighbors fridge. Myself or anyone in my family will never buy an LG product again due to the lack of customer service and common sense.

I bought a LG refrigerator for our home and I must say this particular fridge is roomy and cooled right up within 30 minutes after I placed the food inside. Easy to maintain. Wiping interior down/doors. Shelving is spacious for those bells and whistles. I also purchased the ice cube/freezer kit since I live in the desert in the middle of summer. Easy setup. Completely happy with this refrigerator. Thank you LG.
