Warranty is awfuol to deal with

I did not get a new fridge It is still under warranty and it took over a month to get someone to come look at it. At this moment my fridge is working but freezer and ice maker still are not the next day after he worked on it the code came right back up The LG man is at my house today but who knows if it will work afterwards or not By the time you paid for his time and gas twice with all of the parts should have just bought me a new one or refunded my money on fridge

Complete CRAP Customer Service

Less than 4 years old and started showing freezer fan error codes. Paid to have tech diagnose codes and problem. Found compressor was not working properly. Provided tech write up to LG customer support and warranty compressor replacement was denied due to error code. Guess Im to pay for fan replacement first out of warranty even though the fans are ok. Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever experienced Why even get a diagnosis? Just pay until everything is new except the warrantied part??? Buying a new refrigerator tomorrow and will NEVER buy anything LG AGAIN

The crisper drawer cover shattered suddenly. It was not struck cleaned with warm water while cold or doing anything other than holding a normal load of refrigerated groceries. Its $144 to replace. Ive seen reviews on similar components that suffer the same problems. Needless to say this is dangerous. Im not sure how this has not been subjected to a recall.

just about 2 years old and had a CH error code which indicates a leak in the high side line. got ahold of LG support in an online chat and halfway through was disconnected. Ok tried again and same thing halfway through disconnected again. Wife called and person on the other end would be silent for minutes before replying to questions and resolutions. 30 minutes into her call and still working with support I figured i would try live chat again finally made it to almost the end of the conversation and disconnected but this time the rep finished the process for repair and messaged me . today is day 2 and finally received a call that repair man could come on Tuesday next week to look at it and hopefully repair it. freezer food thawed out and has to be thrown away refrigerator food is junk and the repairman was nice enough to tell me to buy a cooler and fill it with ice or ask a neighbor to store my food. no backup fridge or freezer at home but i will get one 4000. for fridge and bought matching stove but if this is the price for poor service and quality from LG count me out. I will share this info with everyone so they dont have to go through the same nightmare and waste of money

Broken 3x inside first 1.5yrs aweful cust service

I bought this refrigerator 1.5yrs ago. It is currently not keeping things cold/frozen for the 3rd time. It was repaired the first two times which seemingly didnt take. Customer service has been atrocious promising me things and not living up to the promises not calling back and taking a rather unapologetic and casual approach to my concerns amd experiences. This has been the worst customer servixe experience I have ever had. Also I wrote a more detailed review that was cleanly worded more than 2 weeks ago that LG has yet to post. My reccomendatiin would be to avoid LG.

Poor Quality

Not worth it. When the craft ice maker works its a great thing to but the ice maker will only work for a couple months and then its broke again. Within the first year owning this refrigerator I have had the repair man at my home 6 times to fix the craft ice maker. Not getting any help from anyone. The repair man from AE said its LG thats what happens

Craft ice maker busted 2 years

When it works its great. The craft ice maker started acting up just after a year conveniently for LG which is when the warranty expires. I reset it a couple of times and it worked again. It completely broke see cheap plastic that snapped in photo and now Im looking at an expensive repair which I assume Ill have to do again in a couple of year. The design is ridiculous for a part that will have high tension on it to push out the ice and its built out of plastic.

Craft Ice maker stopped working

The refrigerator was installed about 1.5 years ago. So far everything was alright except the ice makers. The compact one in the door has a problem that at some point the ice sticks all together in one piece and does not dispense so it is necessary to remove the tray shake it and remove the large ice pieces. The biggest problem is the Craft Ice maker. When it worked most of the time the ice balls came out with shape not round and not very clear. Now it stopped working completely - just leaks water right into the tray no ice balls.

Craft Ice Maker

Purchased July 2019. After receiving four damaged refrigerators finally received one in November 2019. In November 2020 the Craft ice-maker stopped working and started leaking water into the ice tray. LG would not cover my warranty from the date refrigerator was received -- only from the purchase date. It is out of warranty

My family absolutely loves this fridge. Here is a list of things that I love about the fridge. Storage Space - This fridge has plenty of room to store enough food for a family of six with plenty of room left over. To give you an idea I purchased a 2 liter bottle of soda and put it into the fridge and there was still plenty of room to store food in front of the soda bottle. The door in door - Is great because it allows you to get things like condiments or milk without opening up the rest of the refrigerator. Also some of the shelves in this section are adjustable. High quality drawers - I have owned plenty of refrigerators in my life and one thing that I really find annoying with some lesser models is that the drawers often get stuck. With this fridge the drawers have bearings on them so they open and close very smoothly. Water and ice dispenser - The water and ice that comes from the dispenser tastes great and the water comes out crystal clear. As far as water quality I cant taste a difference between the water in my fridge versus the water that comes from my expensive gravity fed water filter. Craft Ice - My kids really love the craft ice option. WiFi options - Being able to connect to the fridge over the WiFi is also a plus. Through the app I can control the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer look at diagnostic data adjust fridge options and check on the energy usage of the refrigerator. Unfortunately this fridge has a couple of cons and I will list them below. On my refrigerator the craft ice doesnt come out as perfect spheres. There is no drip tray below the ice and water dispenser. So if water leaks or spills out from the water dispenser I have to have a towel ready to clean it up so water doesnt leak on the floor. Lastly the ice production on this freezer could be quicker. To give you an idea it seems like it takes at least a day to produce three craft ice cubes. The normal ice production is quite a bit faster but I can see issues if you have more than 6 people living in your house.

Amazing beautiful and perfect addition

Wow. We are so incredibly flabbergasted at the quality of this refrigerator. It is clean and classy looking in our kitchen and a gadget we cant wait to show anyone who comes into our home. This fridge is so huge that we never have to worry about what will or wont fit. The shelves move to accommodate larger soda bottles and the door shelves are a perfect place for all our condiments. As far as the double door opening it is awesome to have kids drinks and milk so handy so they dont have to leave the fridge open to find what theyre looking for. What is so amazing is truly the craft ice feature. It makes great balled ice for fancy cocktails and we are so impressed with the clarity of them If you are looking for a fridge look no further. LG is on the cutting edge of technology and having this product makes us feel like the coolest people on the block We are completely in love and I never thought Id have such a strong feelings for a kitchen appliance

This refrigerator is awesome It has so many features where do I start. It has a large freezer drawer on the bottom. It has french doors on the top which makes it easy to put large items on the shelf. It has a dual tall ice and water dispenser in the left door with Craft Ice for slow melting round ice. It has an Instaview door in door with on the right side door of the refrigerator so you can see inside with two quick knocks on the door without opening the door and letting the cold air out. It is 30 cubit feet for large capacity. I has child lock and a door alarm. It has Thinq smart features that will work with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. It has finger and smudge resistant exterior which comes in stainless steel or black stainless steel. It comes with a good warranty.

Very great fridge super nice design and although not the widest but it is very deep which makes it very spacious. There is a special door that opens a particular compartment which saves cooling power and is very convenient. Additionnally my children really like how a light turns onwhen one knocks on the window. It is a very practical modern fridge that we all love

Gorgeous Black Stainless Color

I have had this Fridge now for about 3 weeks. The black stainless color is amazing. The inside is very well laid out with tons of space. The inside door with the touch screen window is a truly neat design. I love absolutely everything about this fridge especially the craft ice maker. Very well constructed and fits perfectly in my kitchen. I will be purchasing matching stovetop and dishwasher in this same color and brand.

Man this thing has more room than I thought

We had been thinking of upgrading our side by side door refrigerator every since we moved into our house about 7 years ago. House was new construction and builder chose appliances based on specs of previous buyer that deal fell through and when we later bought the house- we got stuck with their appliance choices and so rather than be wasteful and replace a brand new appliance- we used the fridge. That style is just so inefficient that it drove us insane. Never enough room for pizza boxes on the rare chance we had them. Cant thaw or brine the holiday bird- fridge wasnt wide enough. Had to have a practically empty fridge to prepare/store holiday meals. Cook more than a couple of meals and youre out of room. You get the picture. We chose this as we wanted the largest fridge we could get it was a French door and had dual ice makers. Everything has been top notch. I was able to move everything from old fridge to this one and have room to spare. I even have Christmas dinner leftovers in the fridge..with the old fridges contents what we didnt toss anyway..and yes STILL could go to the grocery store and have room to spare. Every corner of this thing is well lit and you can reach it all so easily no losing/forgetting things as they inevitably get pushed to the back of the fridge. Bins are HUGE. So is the pull out deli tray. I can put the warehouse sized sandwich meat and sandwhich/sliced cheese trays in the pull out deli tray easily. One of those larger party trays would probably fit as well though we havent tried them. Bins can hold a Costco sized bag of spinach and not even be more than 1/3 full. I dont understand why everyone complains about the craft ice maker- proper research wouldve told many of the complainers that the maker only starts to make ice about 48 hours after install and only 3 a day. The door maker starts about 24 hours after install and within 2-3 days was full for us. Thats without the ice plus setting. Yes youre supposed to throw out the first 6-10 craft ice and the first 150 or so regular ice I threw out the first full bin rather than count but even doing so we had another full ice bin by Friday morning and our install date was Monday night. We just bought a bag of ice stored in the freezer and yes still have room to spare to tide us over. No big deal. We used a fridge/freezer thermometer and temp settings are dead on. A little colder center shelves and back of shelves and a little warmer in the door and top shelf- but were talking a 1-2 degree variance. Nothing to get overly concerned with. Left hand door swings close hard- I think because of the ice maker unit. Storage on left hand door is limited but it WILL fit the warehouse sized mustard/mayo/ketchup bottles. Door in Door will fit full Champagne and magnum wine bottles hey- its that time of year lol so Im sure gallons of milk shouldnt be an issue. Half and half beer soda etc. fits no problem. Knock knock preview works well and unlike earlier versions my big dogs voice doesnt seem to trigger it even when shes in the kitchen with me. And one of the shelves slides up and down to adjust as needed. Ice/water dispenser can fit TALL items underneath with ease. Dont much use the measured water fill but when I have its been accurate. Water dispenser nearly silent- if you werent literally watching the water come out youd probably not know it was running. Ice dispenser quieter but not silent. Ice does like to shoot all over- but thats just one or two cubes. Havent tried crushed ice yet. Water is chilled coming out of the dispenser. Fridge itself runs quiet too. You wont hear ice filling the door bin once theres some ice in there. The craft ice however you will very obviously know is being filled IF you are in the vicinity of the fridge when the ice drops in. But its not like you can hear it upstairs or anything as noisy as that. Black stainless very elegant and does not clash with the remaining regular stainless appliances in the kitchen. VERY fingerprint resistant. Not magnetized on front. So far my only complaints are minor: left hand door and right hand door are not flush at the top yes even after performing the leveling techniques and are off about 1/8. Shelves inside hard to arrange so that tall items fit anywhere versus one certain area. Of course you can put those tall items in front of the adjustable slide shelf- but that makes it hard to reach behind them to get items stored on said shelf. No removable drip tray for ice/water dispenser- so you will have to wipe the very occasional dribbles up. Though on the other hand if your water leaves deposits/scale theres no unsightly drip tray you must now clean all the time like before. Overall we would make this purchase again. We have owned the fridge for about a week now FYI. If something changes I will come back and review again.
