Dishwasher works well and is easy to use and maintain. Functionally an aesthetically pleasing. Quality of materials and warranty support is lacking. 3 year old dishwasher had severe rusting on upper and lower racks. Have contacted support and was told warranty on racks is only two years. Dishwasher started making the infamous loud noises due to failing circulating pump. Although warranty is 10 years it needs to be diagnosed by a technician and then labor is on the customer and pump would be covered. This problem is so widespread I sincerely regret buying the LG.

When I buy appliances I will try to justify buying an LG appliance. My research has shown me that for my use-cases they offer me the best combination of features and quality. This has proven true with every major LG appliance purchase so far 7 in all except this dishwasher. I love the features of this dishwasher. When its working it really is great. But in the 2+ years Ive owned it here are the parts Ive had to replace out of warranty: inlet valve door vent door seal LED panel and BOTH upper and lower racks due to rusting. I have owned many dishwashers. My family does not abuse them. The racks are rusting in places where they have never come into contact with anything sharp that may have worn away the coating. This is unfortunately an ocean of quality control issues coupled with possibly poor design... I say possibly because when it works its great Quiet cleans well more features than I need. But Ive spent almost as much repairing it as I did to purchase it.

I would give this machine zero stars if I could. After one year the dry function stopped working. The one year warranty had passed so LG wouldnt help. I bought Lowes Extended Plan and they sent a LG Alabama technician out. The technician told me because there is no error code the machine is working according to manufacturers design so there is nothing he can do. He said the dry function breaking down on this model is a known issue and he has had to tell customers theres nothing he can do. What? Why is this machine even in the market? And Ive had no help from Lowes bc they are being told the machine is working according to manufacturers design. I was willing to pay more for a LG product as well as for Lowes Extended Warranty because I expected quality products and quality customer service. After two weeks Ive gotten neither.

Doesnt get the dishes clean. Does NOT dry them. Have tried every cycle. Tried running it with half the capacity still wont clean or dry. Emptied every filter and cleaned the machine. Only lasted 2 years. No warranty left. My LG fridge I bought at the same time is dying also the compressor is starting to fail. Never buying LG again.

Purchased LG dishwasher model LDTS5552S from Lowes in September 2023. in January 2025 noticed glasses on 2nd rack and utensils on top rack were not getting clean. Tried trouble shooting based on information from users manual YouTube and consulted with a friend who installed and serviced high end kitchen appliances. We are still having the problem. Unfortunately we did not take an extended warranty out on the dishwasher. We called a local appliance repair company and were advised that the water pump was the problem. Cost to replace would run $269 for part only. He also advised us that the door gasket was deteriorating. That would have to be replaced. Hesitant to do repairs that will cost almost what the depreciated value of the dishwasher was. Even though we should have taken the extended coverage I would expect that a dishwasher that is used once a day seven days a week should last longer than 16 months. We will be replacing the dishwasher but will be looking at other brands. I rated with one star because we liked the look of the dishwasher and it had the features we wanted.

Dishwasher has been working for just under 2.5 years. Drying capability is on the poorer side. All additional options high temp steam etc all hasnt made much difference to the dish cleanliness ie. heavy stains and thorough drying. We run the dishwasher at least once daily. 2.5 years is way short of the expected lifespan of a dishwasher. It has been a joke to get a flat rate service repair which cost 2/3 of the original price I paid for it. Very disappointed

My builder installed all of our LG appliances including the dishwasher prior to our move in date of November 21. When we tried to use the dishwasher we couldnt get the door to close without forcefully slamming the door. Upon further investigation I found that the back right corner had been damaged probably during shipping. My builder notified Lowes who notified LG. LG refused to take responsibility therefore leaving me in limbo trying to get me a new dishwasher probably at my cost even though I was not responsible. In my opinion LG should have replaced my dishwasher because it was obviously damaged during shipping because the damage was external resulting in a slight protrusion inside the washer which is why the door wouldnt shut with the bottom rack installed.

Washes dishes fine. Operates louder than expected. Product is only 2.5 yrs old weve been having ongoing intermittent issues with the control panel apx 50 of the time - When trying to begin a wash cycle - control panel beeps flashes in a variety of manners. Usually just closing the door for a few minutes it will reset itself and then will allow you to proceed. Very frustrating We are careful with spillage etc getting on the control area. LG products look good but greatly disappointed with quality/longevity. Current issues with refrigerator ice maker hate my newer LG Pro-Bake gas range.

Purchased from LGs website: I read the other 1-star reviews based on delivery/installation and thought that we would be ok due to living in a large metro area. This item has sat uninstalled in my kitchen for 2 weeks so I will review the experience. The last mile delivery company is RXO and they sent the installation team without the proper parts which I paid for in my order. After multiple failed reschedule attempts RXO now claims LG never sent them the installation parts. RXO takes no responsibility and LG support has no information or ability to help. I have no idea when this will complete installation and recommend avoiding LG.com for any items that require installation.

dissappointed this is the most expensive and worst dishwasher I have ever owned. It only has two rows of tines cheap on bottom rack - all my others had three - so you could add small dishes between other two rows. and nothing fits right any way. the tines are weirdly spaced and much thinner gauge cheap than my older dishwasher. none of my cups/glasses fit right in top rack either. I am sure my dishes are as average as anyone elses and this should not be a problem. 3rd top rack not very useful - wont worry about this option if shopping and no matter what setting used this dishes are always very very wet. you have to open the dishwasher at the end of the cycle or they will never dry plus - i was not offered the extended warranty for 2 yrs for $25 can not recommend to anyone

Extremely disappointed had it in my new kitchen for 2 months and it never worked LG sent a service rep they said said it works tried after left would not work again called service department 3 times they would have me reset it this worked once and stopped working they said it was power supply in my newly wired outlet plugged a couple things in with no problem finally told HomeDepot about the issue and they gave me a different new one. It runs with no problem so far.

LG Dishwasher came with our new house. It does clean the dishes well but is also leaks water randomly when in use Working with LG Customer Service Call Center is crazy. The noise level is ridiculous and the questions asked to determine the causes of various issues with the appliances are ridiculous Example: how can I tell by looking at the appliance if it was installed correctly

Noisy Annoying. Not quiet as advertised

Dishwasher is very noisy and annoying. Only purchased 7 months ago to replace my broken dishwasher as this dishwasher was rated as a super quiet dishwasher. Well it is anything but quiet. It is constantly making noise. LG sent me a technician the first time and the motor got replaced on my dishwasher. That didnt fix it at all. Now the technician has gotten sent out to me a couple more times and tells me that it is normal for it to have these noises each time they came out to look at it. LG will not replace my machine or stand by their product and I am constantly getting the same run around from them every time I call. Absolutely rediculous and not a good dishwasher at all. Americas most reliable and consumer reports recommended what a joke.

Dishwasher cleans well. But is very noisy and annoying. LG will not get me a replacement of the dishwasher. The technician keeps telling me that its normal for the dishwasher to sound this way.

Bought this dishwasher about one year ago. I have been impressed by its efficiency and particularly its very low level of noise. Works great on the dishes and has several optional features that add to overall utility of the product. Couldnt be more satisfied.
