Second LG dishwasher and way louder than previous machine. Were out of warranty and it sounds like motor is dying. Suddenly even louder. Lets hope its under the 10 year direct drive motor warranty because this is worst appliance weve bought.

I would give this product zero stars if possible. Within the first year the motor broke. Although it was still under warranty it took at least two months for someone to repair. During the second year the wires connected to the motor shorted out...... smoke sparks scary Although I requested a new dishwasher LG again sent a repairman. The parts were out of stock and we waited months for repair. In between all of this chaos the detergent door stopped opening and the digital numbers were unrecognizable. I would NEVER purchase another LG appliance if my life depended on it.

Weve had this dishwasher about 4 years and its given us quite a bit of trouble. The electronics have been the issue. We paid to have it fixed once about 2 or 2-1/2 years ago. Its given us some problems since then and now it just quite.

My mom liked this dishwasher but two weeks ago it died. Burning smell and stopped working. Called LG and there is no service in our area. Told twice we were on our own. While I was buying a new dishwasher they called my husband and set up and appointment through Sears for two weeks later.

Strong Burning Smell Motor issue after 2 years

Not our best LG experience

We installed all new LG appliances as part of our 2020 renovation. The dishwasher has been the black sheep of the family. We just had the main control panel replaced which has corrected all the known problems for now. Hopefully that will be the end of the issue and everything else will keep functioning

I bought this a year ago - love it... except for the malfunction where the control panel goes haywire. Only guidance in the manual is turn off the electricity at the breaker and turn it back on. Since this is not practical every time it happens randomly we called for service. They said its a known issue and would have to order a part to replace the controls. A month later no update - come to find out its on backorder for an undetermined period of time. Not good

We bought the LG dishwasher because we absolutely love our LG washer and dryer. After reading lots of reviews we decided on this LG dishwasher. We upgraded to have the top wrap silverware tray. The dishes are never dry. The filter needs to be cleaned way too often to get dishes clean. Weve had to replace the motor 8 months in which luckily was covered by warranty. Our dishwasher is about 1 1/2 years old and we already have rust in about 5 different places on 2 different racks. We contacted LG and they sent us one new replacement rack and we are still waiting for the second one. I feel like weve been forgotten so I need to call back to make sure that we still receive the second replacement rack. LG has been really great about taking care of any problems we have had. However I dont feel like we should have all of these problems with this new of a dishwasher.

I would rate this dishwasher mediocre. We bought this with 5 other appliances all LG brand because we have been happy with LG washer and dryers before and thought wed try other appliances from them. We bought them online and were not able to see them in store prior and I am completely unimpressed with the bottom rack layout. The fold-up holders constantly fold back down and the layout is awkward for smaller dishes like bowls to hold well down there. The worst part is that Im about 1 week shy of having this for 1 year the sensors on the control panel started to go crazy and would beep and flash during a cycle and would not respond to any buttons I pressed to try to stop it. We would have to go to the house panel to reset the power. We called LG and their customer service was very good and we had a contractor they use to repair their appliances AE come out to look at it. The repair man was very nice and professional and told me that moisture gets into the control panel and this happens. He ordered parts and was supposed to return in about two weeks however the parts are now back ordered and I will be estimated more like a month till they could arrive. Seems like a terrible problem for a dishwasher to get moisture in the control panel. That should be foreseen with engineering if the design. Its not the end of the world to have to hand wash all our dishes now just an inconvenience especially not having the dishwasher 1 year.

We have only purchased LG products in all of our houses due to the reliability of the product. This dishwasher is great its super quiet and the dishes always come out sparkling clean. My only complaint is the lcd on top can be hard to read kind of blurry-like

The placement of tines particularly in the top rack is very poor and doesnt allow me to fit all my dishes especially small ones inside. Also flatware is always wet after a cycle of more than two hours Even adding the extra dry does not completely solve the problem. I think this is a poorly designed dishwasher. However glassware comes out sparkling which I do like.

Have used this dishawasher for several months and am completely satisfied with the quietness of its operation the ability to customize the drawer configuration to fit each load and the cleanliness of the items I wash. Especially like the steam feature for cleaning and sanitizing each load.

We purchased this in April 2020 to replace the LG one we had which was 15 years old. I like the flexibility of the racks especially the top skinny pull out rack for utensils and silverware. Makes it easy to unload. The only thing that has been a problem for me is starting it. It is hard for me to find the correct finger pressure when pressing start at the beginning--too little it doesnt light up immediately and so I press again and then it turns off. Have to start all over again. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Everything else is 5 Stars.

I purchased fridg. and dishwasher and thought I would have the best but my dishwasher is not cleaning and I have called many times and they sent a repairman out 3 times but it has not been repaired. I called and ask to speak to a supervisor and no one has called me back. I need this replaced and i was planning on replacing my two ovens and microwave but am having second thoughts about it

I love my dishwasher. Love the different settings and the filtration is very easy to clean. The only downside is that the fasteners broke on the lower shelf within 6 months of use. LG quickly replaced them. One more thing I noticed was around the handle the finish is peeling off. Same thing is happening to my fridge. Not sure if its because of cleaning with a wet rag?

Loving our LG set we got for our kitchen remodel. Dishwasher run smooths and love the spacious design. I can fit so much in there. We discovered there was a lose hose but LG customer service was great with getting someone out ASAP and handling issue for free.

I brought this about 2 months ago and glad i did. Not only that it looks sleek but the room it has even with the 3rd rack is pretty good. You can adjust the middle rack higher to put larger items on the bottom. Also love how quiet it is when running. Cant even tell its on.

Bought this two weeks ago and so far its great My favorite features are the third rack at the top the adjustable middle rack the quad-jet cleaning arms the stainless steel tub and the moveable/removeable silverware rack with plenty of large slots. This dishwasher is AMAZINGLY quiet and so far my dishes have come out completely clean with little pre-scraping and quite dry. Love it

Besides getting the dishes clean the dishwasher is so quiet that you have to look at the lights on the door to tell if it is on. Even with water jets built into the door you cant hear it. The dishwasher is designed so the racks pull out but not so that they bind going back in slide out slide in with ease. I cant think of any negitives to report. I have to recommend and would give it ten stars.
