LG Does Not Support Known Defects

Writing review based on experience with customer service and product. I have a scheduled repair for my fridge with a known issue involving the black stainless steel finish. When my purchased my appliance there were minor stress streaks near the handle since the time the finish has started to peel same as my fridge even when following all proper cleaning instructions. Additionally the liner on the tub has become diss-attached not allowing the dishwasher racks to be moved in and close properly and is now leaking water on our floor. The motor does not run quietly and is sounds like a lot of effort is being placed on the machine. I spent 2 hours chatting with representatives today that do not read my messages and disconnected the chat. I hoping this review will provide the support that is needed. The reason I reached out is due to being in the market of purchasing an oven washer and dryer and I want to ensure the appliances are matched and that I can be provided support if the appliance is defective. Without this support I will no longer be an LG customer. Faulty Motor

The machine Cleans great in between repairs. We bought it in 2020 have replaced the motor twice and now it needs a 3rd. Will be moving to another brand instead.

This was a unit provided by my home warranty company and has been nothing but trouble. Worked fine for 2 or so years and then started having vario speed motor issues or at least that is what the error codes said. Warranty company was out four times and no fix. LG charged me $300 some dollars put in a new part and worked for two weeks and now same nE code. They are on their way back but have done dishes by hand after owning it more than before we had a dishwasher.

Has run without incident. Ordered a replacement top rack a few weeks ago under warranty because the plastic has degraded and the metal underneath is rusting. Was told 7-10 days and now coming up on three weeks and havent seen it. Was told on Saturday last that it would be delivered on Sunday but havent see it. Wouldve given 5 stars but I strongly dislike false promises.

After 3 months 5 different servicemen and 5 different replaced parts my LG Dishwasher still doesnt work. I now know all the LG error codes and what they mean Finally I jumped through all the hoops at LG until they decided that my 8 month old dishwasher was unrepairable and are giving me a full refund. I will try and get my extended warranty from Home Depot also refunded. I never realized how important local service providers are for the brand of appliance you purchase and the LG parts seemed to be always on back order. how can that be?

Silent and clean

Ive have a few dishwashers and this time I really want one that was silent and does a fantastic job at cleaning. I done some research and we already had other LG products and are very happy with our choices so it wasnt a very hard decision to stick with LG it was just which model. Our dishwasher is very vey quiet and cleans with steam like no other Ive seen. Worth the money.

I researched dishwashers for many months before finally purchasing my LG and I couldnt be happier The black stainless is gorgeous and definitely print-proof. I love the features and that I get a notification on my iPhone when the cycle is complete. At first I did not want to look at dishwashers with top controls but the handy light on the front that lets you know when the machine is running means that no one opens it during the middle of a cycle We also installed ourselves and manual was clear and helpful. Highly recommend

Bought in October 2018 and it went bad a few months ago. Had a service tech out to my house 4 times made three attempts to repair and twice replaced parts. Says there isnt anything else he can do yet they will still not give me a refund.
