Cheap and expensive

Worked decently for almost 2 years. But the control panel is made with brittle plastic and it has cracked a few times and continues to get worse. And now the heat pump has burnt out and its not even been a full 2 years. The one time I shoot for the nice appliance and the dumb thing doesnt even last 2 years. With the sales right now I could have bought 3-4 basic dishwashers.

It worked great until it didnt. It now randomly turns off during a cycle and it is happening almost daily. We have only had it for about 3 years. Im completely disappointed in this specific LG product. I expect an expensive dishwasher from a reputable brand to last longer than 3 short years. I will most likely be replacing it with something else soon.

I installed over a year ago and dishwasher has been flawless in operation. Ive washed casseroles with baked on cheese food crusted pots and they come out clean. My wine glasses come out spot free. Its only today that Ive downloaded it to my LG app should have completed much sooner While Im not keen on having all my appliances connected for LG to monitor it does provide me reminders for filters cleaning dishwasher: maintenance items and actions I sometimes overlook. Overall dishwasher is quiet dependable and attractive.

A huge mistake

Honestly...one of the worst experiences we have ever dealt with. To the point we had to get Home Depot involved. In addition we have been also waiting for over a month for a back ordered part. Not a good idea to buy an extended warranty. It just complicates things. Will never buy LG products again.

I had purchased a whole suite of LG products cooktop double oven refrigerator and dishwasher. The dishwasher has been nothing but aggravating. After 6 service calls and dozens of calls to the warranty company it was finally fixed. The tech said its the closing switch and doesnt know how long it will last. I was told the closing switch is a known problem. This is my second switch so my finger are crossed.

We purchased a kitchen package of LG products. The dishwasher is the only product that so far hasnt given us too much trouble. The upper utensils tray is great for my cuticles knives plastic cooking utensils and small items. Seems to clean well. Many features. Have not been able to get the Wi-Fi to hook up properly. Customer service is not useful at all.
