Ive owned this dryer for several years and it has constantly clogged with lint. The lint screen housing and lint screen doesnt seat properly so lint gets into the dryer. I now am waiting on LG to fix my dryer but they contract through at third party who said they dont have at tiny part in stock that I could have ordered on Amazon and had here the next day. It has Wi-Fi for some unknown reason. Id prefer it to be engineered better and have more reliable parts but planned obsolescence and warranty service seem to be built into their profit schedule.

Terrible drier - breaks down easily

The sensor dry feature on this is poor. Theres too many electronics to malfunction which do after 3-4 years and there is not an option to have a unit without wifi which is a completely dumb feature. The wifi might be nice to tell you when laundry is done being dried but it is otherwise just another feature to break. The unit is way over engineered which causes many problems. We have had our appliance for 4 years and the main board failed over $200 new the gas solenoid valves failed at the same time over $250 new and the thermistor failed over $50 new. When we asked LG if they could help they supposedly said that they might be able to although it is outside the one year warranty period 1 yr. warranty for a $750 appliance. They go back to us with the usual we understand but... crap and then told us that to regain our loyalty they would offer a 15 discount on a new unit. That was laughable at best. I had an LG cell phone over a decade ago that lasted maybe 6 months an LG TV that lasted 2 years and my parents had an LG fridge that lasted 4-5 years that service centers would not come out to fix when they heard it was an LG they said theres too m any problems with LG so we wont even work on their appliances. In terms of our drier we fixed it ourselves with used parts off eBay for about $100 total instead of over 2/3 the cost of a new drier with LGs new parts. Its funny how these companies claim to care about the environment but then go an make a crap product and charge so much for new parts that it makes more sense for the average person to throw the appliance in a landfill. I am not an environmentalist and dont care that appliances are filling landfills but the company claims to care and then does the exact opposite. I will never purchase an LG product again. They have a decent reputation with certain appliances but I will not take the gamble with them again.

Replacement too early

Worst customer service and product made to man

Lost my sanity 7/27/2023

Dont ever purchase a LG product I promise you you will end up in litigation. I had a tech out for a simple vent swap. And my dryer is dismantled and non usable and they dont stand behind the warranty or train the technicians.

Sporadic GAS error code

Dryer works well overall. It does have an occasional GAS error code. LG technician ran a diagnostic test and did not find any stored error codes. Dryer failed after diagnostic test. LG Technician returned and ordered a new mother board. Waiting for parts and service now.

Our less than year old dryer just stopped drying. After 4 parts replaced including mother board countless phone calls of lies we finally got a replacement. Took over 4 months We will NEVER purchase an LG again. Simply ridiculous
