Efficiency speed and quiet elegance.

I bought this 1 month ago and have done about a dozen load of laundry - varying sizes. It has a very user friendly panel/controls and is quiet. The clothes come out beautifully dry and I can fold them easily to avoid the iron. I like the many settings for different types of drying. Finally I am thrilled with the efficiency and reduced gas usage from my prior 25 year old dryer

Busted fully in exactly 2 months out of warranty.

This thing sucks. Seriously. It worked just ok for two years 2 months. of course as many others say 2 months out of warranty and LG will do nothing about the $250 gas valve thats busted. With labor Im looking to spend 50 of its worth to get it working. It doesnt work Im going to the laundromat for three weeks trying to find someone to fix it. I had a dryer vent cleanout guy charge me $200 to tell me gas line is hooked up no lint in the vent so it must be a part. Called LG certain they would honor their own description built to last. Support person said he would try to get an exception failed and also that it is $350 flat fee to make it working no matter the problem. Went to book it and of course bait and switch. They said that there is a $350 minimum. Only with several more questions do I find out that they charge $350 just to look t the thing and whatever labor and parts on top of that. Got a local person who gave me the more reasonable price of $500 parts and labor the thing is $899 brand new.

I am coming up on a year on July 28 2023 and the they came out and fixed the dryer so it work. But the display is still acting up when you do a Heavy Duty load when it at the end it keep flashing and does not go off unless I do it twice. I will be calling to report.

Bought this model to replace my previous LG dryer and it works very similarly. I especially like the Towels setting which the old model didnt have. Not crazy about the black door - it has an odd appearance. And occasionally I need to add time to get a load fully dry. Otherwise great purchase. I havent used the app and dont see the need for the WiFi connection.

Better than expected

Our dryer had quit so long ago that I had forgotten how wonderful having one is. Wonderfully being able to adjust the temperature setting is easy I can keep colors from fading while still getting everything dry in under an hour. No longer have an ugly annoying loud buzzer going off but my phone gets a nice notification. Much better.
