Terrible refrigerator

This is a terrible refrigerator! I will never be buying a frigidaire refrigerator again! We had this fridge delivered less than 3 years ago and we were having big problems with it recently! Fridge had no cool air!! 2 technicians came and said its a leaky compressor and must be replaced! The cost is over 850 dollars to get the part and do the labor!! I called frigidaire and they said i am out of my warranty time. Are you kidding??? The life of a fridge should not be around 3 yrs!!! Well i spoke to a supervisor and i said that and she answered me back that its a man made machine so you should expect that! How terrible and terrible customer service to respond like that after spending 1500 on a fridge! She offered 50 percent off a conpressor but the labor will cost over 600 so no thank you!! Who knows what else can happen to this piece of junk! I am appalled at frigidaire for not standing behind their name or product. Please take this as a warning and do not buy a frigidaire fridge. It will not last and you will not be happy! I now have yo buy a new fridge and i will most definitely not be buying frigidaire

This refrigerator broke on Christmas day, less than 1 month after we bought it. We have had it repaired no less than 8 times since then in 41/2 years. The compressor has been replaced, the fans have been replaced and pretty much every major part. It is broken again today - on the 4th of July - and we've lost our 5th full refrigerator full of food. Frigidaire won't replace this lemon unless the same part breaks 4 times in a row so we continue to lose hundreds of dollars worth of food every time it breaks. We will be buying a new refrigerator tomorrow to replace this one and we will NEVER buy a Frigidaire product again.

L:ove the fridge....but the ice maker is terrible

I bought the fridge in Aug 2016 and was really excited about it. Fridge is big, the doors are strong enough to hold a good amount of containers, and we were able to design the shelving to fit our family's needs. The freezer is a good size, but it has such a poorly designed icemaker. It is loud enough to startle us when it kicks on. When we open the freezer, ice falls to the back EVERY TIME. It either sits at the bottom of the freezer and it flies out and onto our floor. EVERY. TIME. We hadn't noticed, but apparently there was also something leaking back there. We didn't know until I couldn't open the freezer. I thought I was going to break the handle off but finally got it to open. The pic I attached is SOME of the ice I was able to chip away from the back, just underneath the freezer. Notice all the ice cubes are fused together. Not looking forward to calling tomorrow to find out it is no longer under warranty. Sigh. Not rating this fridge high because I shouldn't have to pay to fix a 2 year old appliance. I spent the $2k to buy it and expected a quality product.

I have had this refrigerator for 2 months and love it. Particularly allnof the space in the freezer section. I chose this refrigerator because I did not want all of the specialized dirt in the door features, I wanted beyond counter depth for the larger size as not everyone has an extra refrigerator, and for the finish and feel of the interior- sturdy and not cheap/flimsy.

Lots of room for everything

Bought this fridge due to growing family to fit more food that we are going through more often. Produce/meat stays fresher longer in the fresh and cool drawers than the old fridge. The only things we would change is the one door closes soft because it has the divider which is good, but the other door needs something to slow it down. And being able to remove the ice maker/water features would be good as we had no intention of using them. Lots of ways to configure and arrange, but it would have been nice to have a idea of where to put the pop shelf as it didn't come with a diagram, but saw a picture on the website which showed us where it went. It's also magnetic, so lots of room for pictures etc.

Very noisy! Bad ice maker design!

Had this model for about 6 months now and it makes so much noise! It has a very high pitched squeel. Also makes other noises. Just the "running" sound is louder than any other I've ever had. Then when the ice is going to dump, it taps the ice from the tray about 8-12 times before the ice falls. It is very loud! It can be heard throughout the house! Then the ice dumps in the bin. When you open the freezer door, the arm of the icemaker knocks a bunch of ice behind/underneath the drawer, which then falls out onto the floor every time you open the door. Bad design!! Had a repairman come out about the noise and of course, it would not do it the 5 minutes he was here. He made me sound like I was making things up. He said the ice falling in the back of drawer was normal! I don't think so! The design of the fridge, I love, the french doors, cold cut drawer, etc. The fingerprintless front washes fairly well. That is the only reason it is getting 2 stars.

I had to have several service visits during the first ear that I owned this refrigerator due to poor temperature control. After the waranty was up, the fan started sqeaking. My dealer told me that it sounds like the fan is freezing. Frigidaire refused to take care of it. Not covering a parts issue I can understand. This seems to be a design problem.

Very handsome looking appliance. Nice big refrigerator section. The freezer section is a bit undersized when compared to a side-by-side refrigerator-freezer. The French doors do not close by themselves. You have to make the effort to manually close them. That could pose a problem if one has to rely that the children (and adults) in your household will always take care to completely close the French doors. I would recommend this product with reservations.
